At First Methodist Church, San Angelo, we believe in caring for our neighbors and serving our community with compassion. Through our ministries and community partnerships, a variety of resources are available to individuals and families who may need a helping hand.

Blessing Box
Our Blessing Box is located outside the church near the front courtyard and provides food and other basic necessities for anyone in need.

College Scholarships
First Methodist Church offers scholarship opportunities to help support students pursuing higher education.
Applications are currently being accepted for FMC College Scholarships. Click here to download and print an application, or pick up a copy in the Church Office.
Application Deadline: Friday, September 11, 2026
Completed applications should be returned to the Church Office.
Lake View Lighthouse Food Pantry
The Lake View Lighthouse Food Pantry provides food assistance to individuals and families in our community.
When: 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month
Time: 1:00–3:00 pm
Laundry Love
Laundry Love provides an opportunity for individuals and families in need to wash and dry their clothing at no cost. Nurses and barbers may also be available on site to provide additional services.

Methodist Assistance
Our Methodist Assistance ministry provides limited financial assistance for qualifying needs, including utility bills and transportation.
When: Thursdays
Time: 1:00–3:00 pm, or until available funds have been distributed
My Healthy Child
My Healthy Child provides diaper assistance to families with young children who are in need of additional support.

Wesley Nurse Program
The Wesley Nurse Program, a ministry of Methodist Healthcare Ministries, provides health and wellness services and connects individuals and families with helpful healthcare resources.
Wesley Nurses work alongside individuals and communities to encourage healthier lives through education, support, and access to available resources. Programs and services are provided at no cost and are open to everyone in the community.
